I define myself as a rational optimist passionate about marine life, especially sharks! I envision a future world with healthy shark populations and believe in our ability to achieve it using science-based ecotourism. In my opinion, free market principles should be used to solve and help prevent the global decline in shark numbers and other environmental problems.

This blog is a compilation of my thoughts and best encounters with sharks as a volunteer and researcher at the Bimini Shark Lab, during my time traveling the world as the European Rolex Scholar 2014 of the Our World Underwater Scholarship Society and while looking for a suitable location to start the Shark Business!
